It was such a pleasure photographing Danielle – she is truly beautiful, both inside and out! She came through from Stellenbosch where she is studying and we started off with a studio session and then headed to Homestead Park for some location shots…
I am still catching up with my blog posts and am excited to share these photos of beautiful baby Jamie that were taken a while ago. He came for a session at the studio with his mom and gran when he was still a tiny little boy and was so patient and co-operative even backRead more
How cute is she? I had a great session with Sharon and Paul and adorable little Isla, who was the picture of happiness throughout the photo session. Loved her little baby legs and her pointed toes – a natural baby ballerina!
Remember when you thought the world was yours to conquer and you could do anything at all… I was delighted to do a styled location session at Deer Park for brother and sister Jonny and Olive a few weeks back. I first saw the gorgeous superhero capes and masks at Kamersvol Geskenke and have beenRead more
I have been neglecting my blog of late as have only had enough time for photo sessions and editing – but will endeavor to catch up and feature my favorite little models over the next few weeks. I am starting off with Flynn da Silva whom I photographed a few weeks ago. I have knownRead more
I recently got to photograph the extended Snijders family at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the most gorgeous winters day! This is the second opportunity I have had to photograph them and I thoroughly enjoy it every time…
I recently had a great session with the Sheriffs at their home in Rondebosch. Brian and Rachael are the proud parents of Myriam and their latest addition – little Reuben!
I was very happy to photograph Sakina, Zeyn and Ziya at their home in Rondebosch recently, despite the fact that it was what felt like one of the hottest days in January so far. Ziya is adorably cute and I must add incredibly patient… how would you like being photographed when its 40 degrees celcius! Read more
I was expecting quaint little streets and as we were starting quite early in the morning I thought it would be quiet – unfortunately it didn’t turn out like that. The ongoing road works had finally reached the village of Kalk Bay and my idyllic old world expectations were replaced with a noisy construction site! LuckilyRead more
I was first in contact with Umar in December last year when he bought a gift voucher for a maternity session for his wife Thania and his daughter Daria, who was at that stage still in Thania’s belly… and after some consideration they decided to wait until little Daria was born. Well here she finally isRead more
I photographed Alex for her 14′th Birthday – a gift from her Mom Cindy and was immediately so impressed that Alex chose a session as her birthday present. During the winter ‘heatwave’ we had recently, I photographed the extended Snijders family at the Camps Bay tidal pool. Marelise told me that she gets all the cousins together every year and I was very happy to photograph such an adorable group of kids… and adults too!
What a tiny little cutie – meet Jamie whom I photographed at the tender age of 3 weeks! I was hoping to get a few shots of him curled up and sleeping peacefully but he was having none of that - he was very close to falling asleep a couple of times but he valiantly fought it off andRead more

I had a lovely morning photographing the Horton family and sweet little Makayla at their Camps Bay home a few weeks back. It was cold and windy outside but bursting with love inside - and Makayla has to have the cutest ever elephant themed nursery!
I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Couchman family who have relocated from Johannesurg to Cape Town a few weeks back. I had a great time with them, and their daughters ‘Monkey’ and ‘Mouse’ are the happiest little girls around!
So I went down the rabbit hole and began at the beginning and went until I got to the end – and what a wonderful birthday party celebrating Olive’s very first birthday it was! Cakes and climbing were thoroughly enjoyed and even little Olive had a go at scaling the heights!

My mother told me that when my sisters and I were born, she made a wish for our guardian angels to always protect us and look after us – but I think that we were fortunate enough to already be cradled in the arms of our guardian angel, my beautiful mother. Unconditional love is somethingRead more

I was lucky enough to spend a long weekend at Hermanuspietersfontein Cottages just outside of Stanford this past weekend. Winter has arrived and I loved the roaring fires and romantic old world charm – add to that the incredible light and landscape and this is the result!
