It started out with a heavy downpour, then progressed to bright sunshine and there was even a monkey’s wedding! Incredibly the bride and groom remained calm and relaxed as the ceremony venue was moved from the picturesque outdoor setting under two tall oak trees to a lovely sheltered patio and eventually back to the outdoor venue, all in time to the indecisive weather. Despite all the upheaval, the rain abated and it was a very beautiful and romantic wedding at La Colombe at Constantia Uitsig and I was honoured to photograph it.
